Korshavn Lystbådebro

Welcome to Korshavn Lystbådebro

Korshavn Lystbådebro is a beautiful natural harbor at the top of Funen. It is located in the Kattegat, Fyns Hoved 55°36.3'N 10°36.5'E - nautical charts 114 or 141.

The pier is owned by Odense Sailing Club. It is approximately 70 meters long with a roughly 40-meter-long transverse pier head in the form of a floating pier. The pier is only used for the docking of pleasure craft.

Payment of harbor fees

The fee should be paid immediately after arrival at the credit card machine located in the shed at the shore end of the pier. The pier is not a member of the free harbor scheme.

Navigation and marking

The south side of the entrance, towards the 2.8 m and 1.5 m stone barriers, is marked with a starboard floating buoy with a green top mark. The north side of the entrance, towards the 1.2 m and 0.9 m stone barriers, is NOT marked, so it is advisable to stay close to the green side marking.

During the day, two beacons with red triangular top marks aligned on a (051.4°) bearing will guide you between the stone barriers on the north and south sides of the entrance.

The beacon line - Two beacons. The rear beacon is located deep in the bay, and the front beacon is on the Korsøre spit, just north of the lighthouse - follow this line until about 100 meters from the shore, then follow the Korsøre spit eastward at a distance of about 80 meters from the shore. After that, round the spit at a distance of about 80 meters.

The lighthouse's white sector (053°-058°) will guide you through the entrance.

Speed limit

Please sail considerately due to anchorages and harbor areas.

Depths

The depth at the pier on the outside of the transverse pier is 2.9 meters. On the inside of the transverse pier and the main pier, the depth is 2.5 to 2.0 meters. The largest vessels that can dock at the pier are a maximum of 12 tons, 16 meters in length, 5 meters in width, and with a draft of 2.8 meters.

Water levels

The difference between mean high water and mean low water is approximately 0.3 meters. Northwest winds can cause up to 0.5 meters of high water, and southeast winds can cause up to 0.5 meters of low water.

Facilities

Since the pier is located in a protected area, there are no bathing or toilet facilities at the pier, but there is a public toilet - without a shower - located on the slope by the "black" apartment complex, about 250 meters away. The toilets are managed by Kerteminde Municipality. A campsite, café, provisions (limited selection), and bottled gas can be found by following the road from the pier for approximately 1.7 kilometers.

Defibrillator

A defibrillator is available in the shed with the payment machine at the shore end of the pier.
