Welcome to Bregnør Harbour, a small and idyllic marina located in the heart of Odense Fjord.
This charming harbour, owned by Kerteminde Municipality, is the perfect spot for those seeking an authentic nature experience or wishing to explore the entire Odense Fjord from the water. Bregnør Harbour has a rich history as a former fishing port and is now a popular stop for recreational sailors.
The harbour can be accessed both day and night, but sailors should exercise caution in bad weather, as navigation conditions can be challenging. The entrance is marked by a green light.
Historically, Bregnør Fishermen's Settlement developed slowly, but as fishing boomed in the 19th century, the area began to grow. In 1937, the conditions for fishermen were significantly improved with the establishment of a small harbour at the end of a 200-meter-long embankment. Today, commercial fishing has largely disappeared from the area, and the harbour now serves as a marina with 38 mooring piles and space for slightly larger boats along the inner side of the pier.
Bregnør Boat Club has a cozy clubhouse primarily used by permanent members, but visiting sailors are also welcome to use the harbour's facilities. The harbour offers access to toilet and shower facilities, as well as a public accessible disabled toilet. Additionally, there is a barbecue area, a boat slip, and a defibrillator on-site.
Bregnør Harbour is close to Munkebo, where you can enjoy the view of impressive ships and the large crane at Lindø Industrial Park. It is a harbour that combines the best of past charm with modern conveniences, providing ample opportunity to experience the beautiful landscape of Odense Fjord.
