Bogø harbour is located in the Smålandsfarvandet waters at the passage to the sound of Grønsund.
The sailing area is one of the most inspiring in Denmark, with varied scenery in a very popular waterway. Bogø Harbour offers pleasant bathing beaches, fine fishing waters and relaxation in calm surroundings.
The harbour is very active despite its small size. Here you will find all the necessary amenities, a lovely wild shelter site with a fire pit, and in addition genuine Italian atmosphere and flavours at Bogø Brød, an excellent Italian restaurant at the harbour.
From Bogø Harbour, you can also experience one of Denmark's oldest wooden ferries, Færgen Ida, that is a piece of sailing cultural heritage that both young and old enjoy. The ferry sails every day and carries thousands of permanent residents as well as driving, cycling and walk-on tourists, across the sound of Grønsund to the town of Stubbekøbing.
