Gåbense Lystbådehavn

Welcome to Gåbense Marina

The picturesque Gåbense Marina is the harbor "on the way" between the Smålandsfarvandet and Bøgestrømmen, southeast of the Storstrøm Bridge's landfall on the Falster side. From the marina, you can see the two Farø Bridges and the Storstrøm Bridge.

Before the inauguration of the Storstrøm Bridge in 1937, two automobile ferries operated a shuttle service between Gåbense and Zealand.

The water depth in most of the marina is now 2.5 meters, with the remainder of the marina having depths between 2.0 and 1.5 meters.

The old, protected Ferry House can be seen from the marina.

Opposite the marina, there are bathing piers frequently used by local youth and sailing tourists. The water is perfect due to its proximity to the Storstrøm.

When you arrive and need to provision, you can stroll to DagliBrugsen, which is 2600 meters from the marina, or borrow bicycles from the boat club, which are available at the clubhouse.
