Welcome to Vejrø Marina

In the middle of the Småland Sea lies Vejrø - an island where the rhythm of nature sets the pace, and where the marina is the gateway to an experience of calm, presence, gastronomy, rich wildlife, beautiful architecture, history and open landscapes.

Vejrø Marina offers approximately 85 guest berths with access to water and electricity at the piers. Once the harbour fee has been paid, you have free access to modern shower and toilet facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer, WiFi, barbecue and bonfire areas, as well as bicycles to explore the island.

By the marina you will find Vejrø’s Farm Café - the island’s natural gathering point. Here, light meals, cold drinks, coffee, fresh morning bread and dishes based on the island’s own produce are served, using vegetables and herbs grown in the two greenhouses and surrounding fields.

For a more refined dining experience, visit Restaurant JORD. The entire experience is rooted in Vejrø’s soil-to-table philosophy, where the menu follows nature’s rhythms, the changing seasons and what is being harvested on the island right now.

Vejrø consists of 155 hectares of nature, organic farming, forests, beaches and open landscapes. Here, you can walk around the island, swim from the coastline, experience the wildlife or simply find peace in the silence between sea, fields and sky.

The island operates through a living interaction between nature and technology, powered by solar energy, wind and geothermal heating. Vejrø’s microgrid and regenerative approach are an integrated part of the island’s way of functioning - created with respect for the landscape and future generations.

We also invite you to visit the greenhouses covering more than 1,200 m², where vegetables, flowers and herbs are grown for the restaurants and the island’s experiences.

Draft and approach:

The official depth at the entrance is 3 metres, though during low tide and due to silting, the depth may be reduced by approximately 0.5 metres. Vejrø VN provides guidance on approach and leads vessels in from the southeast on a green/red bearing of 320°. The entrance is marked by FL.R. and FL.G. The entire harbour is illuminated and accessible both day and night.
