Welcome to Assens Marina

The marina is a lively harbor, perfectly located at Næs, where you will also find the campsite, water sports center, restaurant, maritime shop, service workshops, sailmaker, ice cream and grill bar, as well as several clubs.

The marina is a wonderful family destination in cozy surroundings, offering great facilities such as a crab pier, barbecue areas, and just a 5-minute walk to the nearest shops and 15 minutes to the charming streets of the town.

Every Wednesday in July, the Assens Harmony Orchestra plays as the sun sets. It starts at 9 p.m. and ends with community singing. Everyone is welcome.

New activities for children at Assens Marina

In the northern part of the marina, safely protected from traffic, the playground has been newly renovated. Here you’ll find a zipline, a sensory swing for the little ones, a large pirate ship, a windsurfing board, and a carousel that is also wheelchair accessible. On the cozy terrace, you’ll also find table football and table tennis, as well as the opportunity to enjoy your own food and drinks while the kids burn off energy after sailing.

Plenty of experiences await – hop on the harbor bikes

The beaches around Assens Marina are perfect for swimming in clean water. In addition to enjoying the beach next to the marina, you can also borrow a free bike at the marina office and visit, for example, the nearby scenic Helnæs.

If you feel like going further, a bike ride to the old fishing village of Torøhuse and the island of Torø can be a great experience. You can also explore Wedelsborg, Brahesborg, Sønderby Cliff and Å Beach, the fishing hamlet of Brunshuse, and further across the causeway to Helnæs with its lighthouse.

Assens Marina is close to islands and harbors – whether you sail south or north

Assens Marina is an ideal starting point for trips in the area. There are at least 23 harbors within 20 nautical miles.
The islands of Baagø and Årø can be reached in about an hour. Good anchoring and swimming spots can be found at Torø, Baagø, and Aborg Beach. Within 20 nautical miles, you can reach destinations in a single day such as Haderslev with its beautiful long fjord, Hejlsminde, Brandsø, or Middelfart to the north. To the south, you’ll find Barsø, Kalvø, Als, and Falsled.

So, if you want experiences that are easy to reach and affordable, Assens Marina is the place to choose – whether as a guest or as your home base.

Fueling at Assens Marina

Diesel and petrol are available.
The diesel pump is located at the harbor. The petrol pump is 500 m away; ask at the marina office, where you can borrow a 50 L container and a trolley.

There are almost always vacant berths in the marina

Although Assens Marina allows sailors to book a guest berth online, don’t let that stop you from sailing in. We have many available spots for guests. About 8 berths can be booked online – this is partly to help very large boats (over 15 meters) and partly for groups of friends who wish to berth next to each other.
