Small Recreational Fishing and Boating Harbour

Approximately 10 guest berths. The only harbour on the southwest coast of Bornholm accessible to keelboats.

Approach with caution from the southeast in bright and visible weather. Immediately south of the harbour, there is a high-lying reef (0.5 meters) up to 200 meters from the harbour. Generally, great care should be taken when approaching the harbour due to unmarked reef tops and stones in the area.

Compass deviations may occur, and strong currents combined with poor visibility can be dangerous. Leading lights and beacon piles have been decommissioned and removed. Arnager Reef is marked with a compass beacon. In calm conditions, drift nets and other fishing gear may be present in the area.

A shooting range off Raghammer Odde is occasionally active, which may restrict navigation east of the harbour; check this on "Sejlsikkert." Arnager Harbour is the island harbour with Northern Europe's longest wooden bridge connecting it to the land and the only harbour on Bornholm’s south coast accessible to keelboats.

Guests are welcome at the harbour, and in good weather, guests can also moor on the inner side of the pier head. There are toilet and shower facilities at "Salteriet" right where the wooden bridge meets the land. The small fishing village has active recreational fishermen and a herring smokehouse with a restaurant, about 800 meters from the harbour.
