Kysing Beach

Beach with many uses

The Odder Coast has a long and continuous stretch of beach from Hou in the south to Norsminde in the north. A short distance north of the best bathing beaches on the east coast, Saksild and Rude, the beach changes quite dramatically. Kysing is neither crowded nor packed with facilities. Here, you are surrounded by nature. Rustic stretches of stone beach alternate stretches of fine sandy beach. Kysing Beach offers something to suit all tastes – from the family on a coastal holiday to hikers, naturists who want to sunbathe naked, and the angler.

The best naturist beach in East Jutland

A section of the beach is reserved for naturists. Signs on both sides make you aware that you are entering a nudist beach.

The nudist beach is connected to NFJ Naturist Camping and offers good facilities and bathing conditions. Here, you will only meet other naturists - no voyeurs. There is a bathing jetty at the beach.

You can get access to the nudist beach if you pay 30 DKK at the camp site. This will also give you access to all the camp site’s other facilities.

Bathing beach in Norsminde

Not all parts of Kysing Beach are reserved for naturists. A sandy beach with a bathing jetty is found north of the camp site, in the outskirts of the holiday home area in Norsminde. This section of the beach is open to the public. A path leads down to this little beach from the street Pouli Nielsens Vej. There are no further facilities available here, but you are only a short hike away from the harbour in Norsminde.

Norsminde is a popular destination whenever the weather is good. The little harbour at the mouth of Norsminde Fjord offers cosy summer atmosphere and a couple of really good eateries. We recommend that you visit the harbour when heading to Kysing Beach.

Combine a dining experience with a beach walk

South of the campsite, you will find one of the area’s most popular eateries – Restaurant Havblik. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and also has an ice cream bar that opens when the weather is good.

From Havblik’s parking area, there is direct access to the beach, where you can take a walk in the direction of Rude and Saksild.

Angling at Kysing Beach
