Livø Havn

Livø, the Green Paradise of the Limfjord

Livø is an intriguing island of about 320 hectares, owned by the state and managed by the Danish Nature Agency. The lessee of the island's holiday center also serves as the harbourmaster.

The island is entirely protected and managed organically, featuring a diverse landscape of fields, meadows, marshlands, heath, forests, and much more. In addition to its fantastic wildlife, Livø offers a marked hiking trail, a nature playground, fire pits, a picnic shelter, and more.

Livø Holiday Center includes not only the harbour but also beautiful old institutional buildings with 265 indoor beds and a camping site. The island has a kiosk/café with a limited selection. The holiday center is only open during the summer season. It is not permitted to bring dogs or cars to Livø.
