Welcome to Gudhjem Harbour
Gudhjem's harbours are true Bornholm harbours, carved into the rock that rises steeply from the harbour up to Bokuld, giving the harbour and the town a distinct southern European feel.
Connection to Christiansø
From the east harbour, there are several daily connections to Christiansø. The town is a true tourist destination with plenty of life, dining options, live music, shopping, a cinema, swimming pool, galleries, and arts and crafts, including glassblowing. Museums, such as the Oluf Høst Museum, are located right by the western harbour. The rocks around the harbours are popular spots for enjoying everything from smoked herring from the harbour smokehouse, sunbathing, a dip in the blue Baltic Sea, to watching the beautiful sunset.
In the eastern harbour, guest sailors are welcome in all basins, though 2 quays are reserved for the Christiansø ferry and tour boat. There is usually space for everyone, although capacity is reduced during onshore winds, as there is a gate between the inner and outer basin that closes when the onshore wind exceeds 10 m/s.
