Bådeklubben Sjællandsbroen is a small maritime oasis in Copenhagen’s South Harbor, close to the bridge where city and sea meet. The club is known for its floating clubhouse and the charming red boathouses that line the waterfront like little allotment gardens. Here, motorboats, dinghies, and kayaks gather side by side, while members themselves keep the place alive through volunteer work. Nestled among the modern buildings of Sluseholmen, the club preserves a piece of South Harbor’s authentic soul and serves as both a sanctuary and a community.
