Nice playground near the center
Just a few hundred meters from the bustling pedestrian street in Horsens lies the old city park, Caroline Amalie Lund (colloquially known as Lunden). The park is a green oasis that is worth a visit when you need a breather in the city.
For families with children, the playground is the most popular part of the park. Located at the edge of Lunden, closest to the city, it is near a busy road but is completely enclosed with a fence, ensuring that children cannot run out.
The playground features equipment such as swings and a slide. It is generally best suited for younger children who can enjoy themselves for a long time in the small but cozy and quiet area.
The playground also has a covered pavilion/snack house where you can enjoy a small snack or a packed lunch. There are also toilets, a changing station, and tables and benches available.

In connection with your visit to the playground, it is recommended to take a stroll through the old park, which offers several activity options and places to enjoy the sun in a green setting. Caroline Amalie Lund is situated on a grassy hill with many old trees. Throughout the park, there are numerous artworks, and even more can be seen at the Horsens Art Museum, which towers over the park. Next to the playground is also the Horsens Museum, where you can learn more about local history. Additionally, there is a petanque court and a basketball court outside the playground.
