Bork Harbor is located in the innermost part of Ringkøbing Fjord.
Its location means that Denmark’s largest coastal lagoon lies on one side, and one of Denmark’s most fascinating bird reserves is on the other side of the harbor.
Bork Harbor was founded in 1933 by the Bork Fishing Association. Since then, the harbor has been expanded several times for pleasure craft, and today there is space for approximately 290 recreational vessels. The harbor also includes a fishing harbor for leisure anglers and a basin for houseboats.
Activities for every taste
Surfing, recreational fishing, birdwatching trips to Tipperne, the Skjern River Project, sailing with Viking ships, and trips to the North Sea are just some of the experiences that await. The area behind the harbor includes a large summerhouse area, a campsite, a grocery store, specialty shops, inns, and restaurants, offering plenty of opportunities for shopping and other experiences.
