About the harbor

Welcome to Ringkøbing Harbour

Ringkøbing Harbour is a charming fjord harbour in the northern part of Ringkøbing Fjord. In 2025, Gammel Havn (“Old Harbour”) reopened following a complete refurbishment, and the first phase of the marina’s refurbishment was completed in early June 2026. Here, the service quay is ready for use, equipped with its 20-tonne harbour crane, a refuelling facility for marine diesel and a pump-out station.

Pleasant harbor atmosphere

Ringkøbing is an old market town with many beautiful well-preserved houses and charming narrow streets. The square is bustling with life in the summer, with music on the bandstand every Saturday. The harbour is popular among holiday house tourists, who enjoy eating out at the harbour’s four eateries.

During the summer season, there is a classic car meet at the harbour one Thursday every month, and there are plenty of activities in the town and at the harbour throughout the summer. Learn more at https://www.visitringkoebing.dk/

Motorhomes are welcome at the harbour, and there are 19 marked parking spots at the end of the street Fiskerstræde, offering beautiful views of Ringkøbing Fjord. Motorhomes are also welcome to use the winter boat storage area during the sailing season.

You can purchase GTL at one of the local haulage contractors. Please contact the harbour master’s office if you wish to do so.
