Sottrupskov - a small, peaceful landing spot in Als Sund
Sottrupskov is surrounded by beautiful nature and village charm. The harbour is located approximately 11 km northwest of Sønderborg and consists of a privately built jetty with a limited number of berths, including several for visiting sailors.
Access is possible around the clock during daylight and in good visibility. Sailors arriving from the south should be aware of bridge openings further down the strait, and a low speed limit applies in the area. The coastline near the jetty is free of rocks, providing calm conditions for mooring and departure.
The area around Sottrupskov is characterized by a preserved village environment and varied nature, including forest, wetlands, and abundant birdlife. This makes it an ideal spot for a quiet stay for sailors seeking nature, peace, and short visits close to the coast.
