Welcome to Kalundborg Vesthavn
Kalundborg West Marina is a small, modern marina operated by Kalundborg Municipality. The harbour area stretches from the former ferry berth in the east along the coast to the outer pier on the west side.
The marina can be approached at any time of day. However, sailors should follow the official marking near the Samsø ferry berth, as old piles remain just below the surface in some areas. Due to ferry and pilot boat activity, some movement in the basin may occur, so it is recommended to moor securely and avoid berths close to the pier. The West Marina offers around 150 berths.
Thanks to its location near Kalundborg’s historic centre, the marina is a convenient choice for visiting sailors who want easy access to the town’s shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Nearby sights include the Kalundborg Museum with its medieval garden and the distinctive five-towered Church of Our Lady – a unique architectural landmark reflecting the town’s rich history.
