About the harbor

Haderslev Harbor in the City

Take an unforgettable boat trip to Haderslev Harbor and enjoy the breathtaking views through one of Denmark’s most beautiful fjords. The trip takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes at 6 knots, but time flies as there’s always something exciting to see. Haderslev Harbor is centrally located in the city, with easy access to shopping and attractions.

Haderslev Harbor North

On the north side of the fjord, you’ll find many shops and supermarkets just a few minutes’ walk away. The town offers cozy cafés, often with live music in the evenings. The beautifully restored houses make a walk through the town a real pleasure.
In summer, Haderslev Harbor is a lively place with many different events along the waterfront.

Starup and Starup Church

East of Haderslev, on the south side of the fjord, lies the village of Starup, which around the year 1050 was an important trading post. Here you can visit Starup Church, with its oldest parts dating back to the 12th century.

Modern Facilities and Recreational Opportunities

Haderslev Harbor North is being transformed into an area with a marina, housing, and recreational opportunities such as the Street Dome. A new service building with bathing and toilet facilities has been built on Pakhuskajen. Here you can also buy harbor cards for electricity stands and access to toilets and showers.

Camping and Accommodation

Camping with motorhomes is not allowed at Haderslev Marina North. Instead, visitors are referred to Haderslev Sailing Club on the south side or Haderslev Campsite.
