Welcome to Drejø Harbour

Drejø is all about peace, nature and island life at its best – with beaches, forest and a relaxed vibe everywhere you go. Down at the harbour, the big hit with kids (and playful adults) is the floating raft, where you can pull yourself out to a buoy to swim, catch crabs or just soak up the sun with your sweetheart.

Playground & fitness area for all ages

Right by the harbour you’ll find a great outdoor area with equipment for both kids and adults. There’s also a beach next to the harbour and another nice beach with a bathing jetty – Bækskilde, about a 10-minute walk from the playground along the path system.

Great harbour facilities

Drejø Harbour is easy to approach. In high season, it fills up quickly – with room for about 40 guest boats – but there are also good anchoring spots just outside. The harbour has picnic tables, barbecue areas, and a community house where sailors often gather. The facilities building includes toilets, showers, handicap facilities, a kitchen, washing machine and dryer.

Harbour fees can be paid online here on the site or via the QR code posted at the harbour.

Explore Drejø

Enjoy the island’s beautiful scenery and cozy village atmosphere – on foot or by bike. On the west side of the island, at Klinten, you can watch stunning sunsets with a view towards Als.

Drejet is a large nature area, home to around 60 bird species – please respect the nesting restrictions during the breeding season.

Drejø Church is also worth a visit – beautifully located facing south towards Ærø. It was built in 1535 and restored in 2010.

Food & shopping

There’s a small grocery store for basic supplies. If you’d rather taste fresh local island products or browse for treasures, keep an eye out for the farm shops along the way.
