Virksund Lystbådehavn

Sailors will love the route to one of the innermost and well protected harbors of the Limfjord.

The sail takes you through idyllic waters close to the center of Jylland. The harbors location west of Virksund by the lock to Hjarbæk fjord offers very good protection from all wind directions. Virksund Yacht Harbor has 150 berths, a 12 ton crane, well-functioning club house and a great atmosphere. There is a boat ramp 200 meters from the harbor. In the summer you will find lots of activity and a lively atmosphere. Visitors from both land and sea will enjoy the welcoming mood and hospitality that the harbor is known for. North of the harbor you will find a public beach.

Eating

At the club house you can visit our café “Virksund Cafe” that offers lunch and dinner most days in the season. Here you can also enjoy an ice cream, coffee, or cold beer on our terrace overlooking the harbor and beach. Within 500 meters you will also find a great ice cream shop as well as a pizza restaurant at the local camp site. Both are open every day in the season.

Provisioning and transport.

Shopping opportunity in the town of Hald, which is located 5 km from the harbor.

From Virksund there are buses to Skive.
