Welcome to Allinge Harbour

Allinge Harbour is a true Bornholm harbour, carved out of the rock. As with many other Bornholm harbours, the excavated granite has been used to build the solid harbour structures and pavements.

The harbour is well known for the Folkemødet, which each year attracts over 100,000 visitors to Allinge. In 2024, Folkemødet drew 110,000 guests.

The Town’s Hub

Allinge Harbour lies at the town’s centre and is surrounded by an exciting urban environment, with excellent shopping and dining options right on the quay, including a wide selection of fish.

The café atmosphere extends all the way down to the quay and peaks during week 28 at the summer jazz festival. Guests are welcome throughout the harbour, which is so popular that during the absolute high season, despite the small number of based boats, you can walk across the inner basin on the visiting boats. The historic harbour gate’s story is shared, and it is closed between the outer and inner basins in strong onshore winds. The harbour has bathing and toilet facilities, a service machine with weather forecasts, and the code for the bath and toilet is provided when paying the harbour fee. Between October 1 and May 1, the gate is only opened and closed on weekdays during normal working hours.

Allinge Harbour can be accessed day and night, except when the black ball or three red lights are displayed vertically. This signals that the harbour is closed. The two green lights of the entrance line, along with the front and rear buoys, indicate the safe approach to the harbour.

Harbour fees in the municipal harbours on Bornholm are All Inclusive and cover free access to showers, toilets, water, and electricity.

Discounts

When purchasing 5–7 overnight stays, you get 1 extra night free. For 8–13 nights, 2 extra nights are free. For 14 nights, 14 extra nights are free. The discount applies in all 10 harbours of Bornholm Municipality. Unused paid berths are non-refundable. Purchased overnight stays are valid for 5 years. The label and receipt follow the boat and cannot be transferred to another boat.
