Welcome to Jungshoved Kirkehavn
Jungshoved Kirkehavn is a private marina – an A-class harbour – consisting of a southern and northern section, only 100 meters apart.
Keelboats berth in the southern harbour, while the northern harbour features a trailer ramp.
Access: From “De 4 Koste” in the southern part of Bøgestrømmen, steer towards the northern marker (55°03.99’ N – 12°08.65’ E) into Jungshoved. From here, the first red topmark of the private channel marking is clearly visible to the northeast along the 1.4–1.6 m deep and 1.1 nautical mile long channel, which is indicated on both chart 161 and electronic charts. Where both green and red topmarks are present, navigate the narrow channel carefully. If you touch the bottom, it’s just mud, which can be passed with moderate engine power. Keelboats with a draft over 1.2 m should use the first (southern) harbour.
Note: A port-side RGR marker indicates where the channel splits into the main channel to the southern harbour and a side channel to the northern harbour.
As one of the few harbours on eastern Zealand, Jungshoved is fully sheltered from easterly winds.
