Christmas tree lighting in Munkebo

Experience a charming Christmas tradition in Munkebo as Santa arrives by boat at Munkebo Harbour and the festive season begins.

On Friday 27 November at 16:30, you can welcome Santa at the harbour before everyone walks together to the town's Christmas tree in the square by the library. The tree will be lit at 17:00, followed by Christmas carols, dancing around the tree and plenty of festive cheer.

Christmas fun for the whole family

Children can look forward to treat bags while adults can enjoy mulled wine and traditional Danish apple doughnuts. Bring your family and friends, join in the Christmas singing and experience the warm community spirit that marks the beginning of the festive season in Munkebo each year.

The event is organised in collaboration with Munkebo Spejderne, Kerteminde Bibliotekerne, SPAR Munkebo, Munkebo Kulturhus, Munkebo Kultur- og Bibliotekets Venner and Musik- og Kulturskolen.
