Get hurtled down Denmark’s longest water slide

At Djurs Sommerland, there’s heart-pounding water slide fun for everyone. Hop on Juvelen’s cool ATVs and experience the ultimate adrenaline rush on Denmark’s longest water slide. A full 1,000 metres long and 85 km/h! Or hop aboard Piraten, voted one of the world’s best roller coasters, and zoom off at 90 km/h.

Little daredevils will love a ride on Den Vilde Hønsejagt or an expedition on the T-Rex Family Coaster, which takes you on an adventure through the land of the dinosaurs. A total of 9 wildly fun roller coasters await you. Fasten your seatbelts – and enjoy the rides.

One moment you’re on a treasure hunt in the jungles of Mexico. The next, on a pirate’s voyage in the Caribbean. A total of nine adventurous themed lands provide the setting for unforgettable experiences at Djurs Sommerland. Look forward to the new Dinosaurland with 25 wild dinosaurs and six dinosaur rides, or visit Farmland with croaking frogs, oinking pigs and chugging tractors, where even the very youngest can join in. Continue the adventure in Pirate Land, Viking Land, Wild Asia, Western Land or Mexico Land – and don’t forget a splashing visit to the huge Water Park. There’s plenty to explore, so make sure you bring your sense of adventure!

With more than 60 rides, a wealth of playgrounds and plenty of green oases, Djurs Sommerland is simply more fun for everyone. There’s space to move around, space to play, space to relax and space to enjoy each other’s company – whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling. There are enough experiences to last several days. And when hunger strikes, there are treats to suit every taste. Whether you fancy juicy burgers, delicious buffets, salads or quick snacks.

Magical Halloween – and After Dark

During the autumn half-term, plenty of spookily fun experiences await the whole family. Look forward to an enchanted park filled with 40,000 pumpkins, rattling skeletons, cackling witches and giant spiders. Here you can also experience two Halloween Haunted Houses: the Witches’ School and the Pumpkin Factory, and of course try out all the fun rides as often as you like.

When darkness falls, we open the doors to Djurs Sommerland After Dark. An unforgettable experience where the whole park transforms into a sparkling adventure of lights and colours. If you can’t get enough thrills, hop onto one of our many fun slides and whizz off into the darkness. Enchanting, fascinating and just a little bit spooky.

Food, fun and green oases

Throughout the park, you’ll find restaurants serving delicious buffets, burgers, freshly made sandwiches, salads, pancakes, coffee and much more – or you can choose to bring your own food to enjoy in the park’s many green oases. You can cook it in the large barbecue area, and if you’ve booked a barbecue package, it’ll be ready for you when you arrive.

World-class experiences

Djurs Sommerland is literally world-class fun. Come and see why the park has been named “Denmark’s best amusement park” for the seventh year running. Remember, once you’ve paid the entrance fee, you have free access to all the rides in the Nordic region’s largest summerland.

Practical information

Djurs Sommerland is located at Battrupholtvej 3, 8581 Nimtofte.
The 2026 season runs from 30 March to 18 October.
The water park has a separate summer season from 30 May to 16 August 2026.
Parking is free, and the car park is right by the entrance.
There are over 5,000 parking spaces, disabled parking spaces and more than 30 charging points for electric cars.
The bus stops at Djurs Sommerland.
You are welcome to bring your own food and eat it at the park’s tables, benches and green oases.
Dogs are allowed on a lead, but are not permitted in the water park.
Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available in limited numbers and can be reserved in advance.
