Play, learning and views at Hindsgavl Deer Park

Naturcenter Hindsgavl sits at the entrance to Hindsgavl Deer Park in Middelfart and serves as a hub for outdoor experiences across the whole peninsula. Families, school classes, cycling clubs and associations meet here for time in nature, or a short stop with their packed lunch.

The centre is set up so several groups can use it at the same time. It has a teaching room, an exhibition space, a meeting room, toilets, outdoor areas with tables and benches, and a covered picnic house for when Danish weather suddenly turns. In the centre’s storage room, next to the picnic house, you can borrow nets or magnifying glasses to explore the surrounding nature. And don’t forget to walk up to the centre’s roof for a view over the deer park.

Right outside, the deer park’s trails, a Tarzan obstacle course and fire pits are waiting, where you can round off your packed lunch with twist bread over the fire.

Naturcenter Hindsgavl works well as the start of a hike through Hindsgavl Deer Park, or as a destination in itself if you simply need a break in nature close to Middelfart.

Note: The picnic house cannot be booked. If several groups want to use it at the same time, please share the space so there’s room for everyone.
