Virksund Marina

A small but lovely old harbour environment, even though the fishing harbour is situated on the other side of the dam. The harbour is sheltered from all wind directions and has a fine harbour environment with an old smithy and a kiosk. The harbour also features four new pier lighthouses, each of them with a built-in visual weather station. The Danish designer Jacob Jensen, who, for instance, is also known for his Bang & Olufsen designs, has designed the 2-metres-high lighthouses. Campsite right beside the harbour.
