Nyborg was Denmark’s first capital. Nyborg Castle is the royal palace where Denmark’s first "constitution" – the Charter of 1282 – was signed. It was from Nyborg and its castle that kings and queens ruled not only Denmark, but the entire Kalmar Union.

Now you can explore this historic seat of power and infrastructural hub by bike. We offer a wealth of cycling routes, ranging from short trips to longer journeys.
