Welcome to Gudhjem’s Northern Harbor

In the western harbor – Nørresand – there is good space for guests, although most berths can be somewhat unsettled in strong westerly winds. Gudhjem offers beautiful hiking opportunities, for example around the town along the charming stairways, where the southern European atmosphere seems endless, or along the rescue paths east and west of the harbor.

“Sun over Gudhjem” is a smoked herring on rye bread with onion, egg, and radishes – perhaps named after the fact that, around Midsummer’s Eve, you can see both the sun rise from and set into the sea at Gudhjem.
