About the harbor
Welcome to Kleven Harbor
The current Kleven Harbor is over 100 years old. Originally, it was home to cutters and schooners. Today, it is a lively local community with more than 50 permanently moored touring boats, sailboats, and fishing dinghies.
The harbor has a simple campsite and a clubhouse with toilet and shower facilities.
Kleven Harbor serves as a natural gathering point for the residents of Ommel and visiting holiday guests. Annual events include a Midsummer celebration and a Reliability Regatta.
Members of Kleven Bådelaug are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the harbor. In recent years, the boat association has also organized various events and summer gatherings, including hosting several hundred sea kayakers for week-long summer events at the harbor.
