Welcome to Ejby Harbor
Ejby Harbor is a small dinghy and fishing harbor with guest berths and a shallow entrance (approx. 1.2 m), located in the scenic Bramsnæsvig.
The harbor offers facilities such as picnic tables and benches, public toilets (including one with handicap access), tables and sinks for cleaning fish, and the “Fishermen’s Cabin,” which can be used for packed lunches or small groups.
Historically, the harbor has been an important fishing area, known from the 16th century for porpoise hunting and later as a stop for the steamer Ourø. After commercial fishing ended, local fishermen continue to catch shrimp, plaice, eels, and the harbor has also been used for oyster farming.
In 2016, Ejby Harbor was restored with new fishing huts built by volunteer labor, and today the harbor combines history, fishing, and a cozy outdoor experience.
