Welcome to Kanaløen
Kanaløen is located east of “Kanalen” in Randers Fjord and offers a quiet and scenic harbor by an uninhabited island. The harbor is accessed via the marked sailing channel “Raden” and is a popular spot for anglers, who can fish both in the fjord and in the artificially dug channel.
The island’s points are known as good fishing spots, especially in areas sheltered from the current, where perch and trout are often found. When the water level drops, the currents create interesting fishing conditions.
Visitors can enjoy picnics in the picnic house, stay overnight in the two shelters, or simply experience the island’s rich birdlife and views over the fjord. Kanaløen is a perfect destination for fishing, nature experiences, and peaceful sailing.
